In Loving Memory

In loving memory of our founding member

Katlego Motshidi

Katlego was loving, kind, humorous and had the warmest smile! His professional career started in South Africa’s financial services sector, having worked at Indwe Risk Services and HSBC Bank. In 2012 he decided to further his studies and pursue his MBA at MIB School of Management, in the quaint City of Trieste, Italy. Upon his return to South Africa in 2013, together with his immediate family they started Zora Incorporated, a strategic consultancy firm focusing on strategy implementation. At Zora he was Vice President for Strategic Consulting, responsible for business expansion and development. His contribution laid a good foundation for the Zora Team. Katlego was also passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. So to give back to his community, together with his sisters, they started the ‘Discover The Hero In You’ Mentorship Programme for Grade 7 learners at his alma mater, Nkholi Primary School in the township of Pimville, Soweto where he was raised. Aged 30, he passed away in a fatal car accident. We will forever remember him. He lived his life knowing we have this great treasure in earthern vessels knowing all surpassing power is from God and not from us (2 Cor 4:7,Rom11:36). In his honour, a Reunion by MIB School of Management Alumni was held from 21 -22 May 2016. His was a life well lived and he has left an indelible mark in this generation and those to come. The book penned by Kgomotso: ‘Cracking the Gentleman’s Code: A guide to becoming the Job 29 Man’, was inspired by his life.
